关闭 — guānbì

1. to close; to shut (a door, window, cover, etc.)

   请把窗户关闭，外面很冷。 qǐng bǎ chuānghù guānbì wàimiàn hěn lěng — Please close the window; it's cold outside.

2. to shut down; to close (a shop, factory, school, or an organization)

   由于资金问题，公司决定在月底关闭。 yóuyú zījīn wèntí gōngsī juédìng zài yuèdǐ guānbì — Due to funding problems, the company decided to shut down at the end of the month.
