1. relation; relationship (between people, things, or concepts)

   他们之间有很好的关系。 tāmen zhījiān yǒu hěn hǎo de guānxì — They have a very good relationship.

2. to concern; to affect; to have to do with

   这件事与我没有关系。 zhèjiàn shì yǔ wǒ méiyǒu guānxì — This matter has nothing to do with me.

3. guanxi (Chinese concept of social connections and networks)

   在中国做生意，建立良好的关系非常重要。 zài zhōngguó zuòshēngyì jiànlì liánghǎo de guānxì fēicháng zhòngyào — Doing business in China, building good guanxi is very important.
