先后 — xiānhòu

1. early or late; referring to timing (whether earlier or later)

   事情无论先后，都应该按序处理。 shìqíng wúlùn xiānhòu dōu yīnggāi ànxù chǔlǐ — Whether something happens earlier or later, it should be handled in order.

2. priority; precedence (the order of importance or sequence)

   做事要分清先后，不能颠倒次序。 zuòshì yào fēnqīng xiānhòu bùnéng diāndǎo cìxù — When doing things one must distinguish priority and not reverse the order.

3. in succession; one after another (sequence of events or actions)

   队员们先后完成了各自的任务。 duìyuán men xiānhòu wánchéng le gèzì de rènwù — The team members completed their tasks one after another.
