1. to consecrate; to enshrine and worship (a deity or ancestor)

   村民们在庙里恭敬地供奉神像。 cūnmín men zài miàolǐ gōngjìngdì gòngfèng shénxiàng — The villagers respectfully enshrine the deity's statue in the temple.

2. an offering; a sacrifice (made to gods or ancestors)

   祭台上摆着水果和纸钱等供奉。 jìtái shàng bǎi zhe shuǐguǒ hé zhǐqián děng gòngfèng — On the altar are offerings such as fruit and joss paper.
