1. shock (medical condition)

   病人出现休克，需要立即抢救。 bìngrén chūxiàn xiūkè xūyào lìjí qiǎngjiù — The patient went into shock and needs immediate resuscitation.

2. to go into shock; to become shocked (medically)

   病人在车祸后休克了，急救人员正在处理。 bìngrén zài chēhuò hòu xiūkè le jíjiù rényuán zhèngzài chǔlǐ — The patient went into shock after the car accident; paramedics are treating them.
