   他是我们公司的财务主管。 tā shì wǒmen gōngsī de cáiwùzhǔguǎn — He is the finance manager at our company.

2. to be in charge of; to be responsible for (a task, department, etc.)

   她主管该项目的日常运作。 tā zhǔguǎn gāixiàng mùdì rìcháng yùnzuò — She is in charge of the project's daily operations.
