主人 — zhǔrén

1. master; person in charge (of a household, workshop, school, etc.)

   他是这家武馆的主人，对学生很严格。 tā shì zhèjiā wǔguǎn de zhǔrén duì xuéshēng hěn yángé — He is the master of this martial arts school and is strict with students.

2. host (of an event or gathering)

   晚会的主人准备了很多好吃的菜。 wǎnhuì de zhǔrén zhǔnbèi le hěnduō hǎochī de cài — The host of the party prepared many delicious dishes.

3. owner (possessor of property, pet, business, etc.)

   车子的主人很快就联系到了停车场管理处。 chēzi de zhǔrén hěnkuài jiù liánxì dào le tíngchēchǎng guǎnlǐchù — The car's owner contacted the parking lot management immediately.
