1. to lose (something)

   我把钥匙丢了。 wǒ bǎ yàoshi diū le — I lost my keys.

2. to put aside; to set aside (ignore temporarily)

   先把这些烦恼丢到一边，专心工作。 xiān bǎ zhèxiē fánnǎo diūdào yībiān zhuānxīn gōngzuò — Put these worries aside for now and focus on work.

3. to throw (something)

   他把球丢给了我。 tā bǎ qiú diū gěi le wǒ — He threw the ball to me.
