   下半场他会被换上场当替补。 xiàbànchǎng tā huì bèi huànshàng chǎng dāng tìbǔ — He will be substituted on in the second half as a substitute.

2. on stage; (be) performing on stage

   演出马上开始，演员已经上场了。 yǎnchū mǎshàng kāishǐ yǎnyuán yǐjīng shàngchǎng le — The performance is about to start; the actors are already on stage.
