一身 — yīshēn

1. the whole body; all over (one's body)

   他一身都是汗，刚跑完步回来。 tā yīshēn dōu shì hàn gāngpǎo wán bù huílái — He's covered in sweat; he just finished running.

2. from head to toe; completely (in combination with clothing or description)

   她一身红裙子，在人群中很显眼。 tā yīshēn hóng qúnzi zài rénqún zhōng hěn xiǎnyǎn — She is dressed all in red and stands out in the crowd.

3. a single person; one individual (emphasizing alone or just one)

   家里就他一身照顾着老人，辛苦极了。 jiālǐ jiù tā yīshēn zhàogù zhe lǎorén xīnkǔ jíle — He's the only person at home taking care of the elderly; it's very hard.

4. a suit of clothes; an outfit

   他今天穿了一身西装，显得很正式。 tā jīntiān chuān le yīshēn xīzhuāng xiǎnde hěn zhèngshì — He wore a suit today and looks very formal.
