2. (following an adjective) slightly ...er; somewhat

   今天的气温比昨天高一些，不用穿那么厚的衣服。 jīntiān de qìwēn bǐ zuótiān gāo yīxiē bùyòng chuān nàme hòu de yīfú — Today's temperature is a bit higher than yesterday — no need to wear such heavy clothes.
